Bought this ring for my fiancee for Valentine's Day. Opal is her birthstone and she loves it. I ordered it ahead of schedule and ended up getting worried and had to call eBay and complain that LBG had changed the estimated delivery date to get it before the holidays. When the ring arrived my first reaction was that it was a smaller ring than I expected, maybe it's just me. However, she loved it and wore it immediately. The next morning we woke up and her finger was green under the bandage. I overreacted and immediately called them and said they sold a fake ring or because sterling silver doesn't turn skin green. I took it to a jeweler and found that the ring contained silver as well as copper and other chemicals that cause skin reactions. The stone is real and very beautiful. She likes the little ring, but I don't think it was worth it.
