Marinade sometimes drips from the top of one of the bags but it's never a catastrophic amount - it usually takes no more than a quarter sheet of paper towel to clean up. I use these packs all the time, so a leak every few months is honestly great. As well as marinades, I like to use them to pre-cut large cuts of meat and fish and freeze them until I'm in the mood to thaw a portion and cook into a dish. They also look very slick in the freezer and I don't have the problem of freezer burn like with disposable bags. I feel like despite the leaks I still had to give 5 stars based on the versatility and ease of use and how they work exactly like disposable packs and the fact that I've since bought more than this original set. because they are great to have in the house.
