This VCR/DVD player is the only one that has lasted this long. I have 4 boys under 10 and they are a bit rough. Ours eventually died when three DVDs were loaded at once. This is after several "repairs" mom. It was great and tolerated a lot of abuse. We tried two other players and neither of them worked with our TV. So we will order exactly the same. Why screw up what works! I'm really impressed with this player. When our remote was lost we contacted the company to get a new one and they were very quick to tell us how to reorder it. I definitely recommend this player. It's easy to set up and use, works with older TVs, withstands many awkward situations, and easily connects to a sound system.
