I just bought this hand blender. When I opened the package and pulled out the blender, I noticed that it was a decent weight. When I switched attachments and turned it on, I saw that the blender is very powerful and strong. This is NOT a cheap imitation. The engine is powerful. It has 12 speeds and turbo. The blades are very sharp and durable. The hand blender feels smooth but offers a good grip. The large mug has small rubber feet that keep it stable on the countertop. In general I am very satisfied. I'm glad I chose this brand after looking at several others. Looking forward to making some foam and trying it out with other recipes. A note. When removing the lid from the large mug, simply twist it gently until it clicks into place, and then complete the removal. Using too much force is overkill and I almost dropped it. This is easy to do, but requires a bit of fine-tuning.
