I needed a simple, serious keyboard that would "just work" for my son with autism. Basic functions (e.g. volume control) should be primary and not require modifiers like Fn. Also, most Bluetooth keyboards these days have dedicated keys for switching devices - that's no start for me. (KEYBOARD DESIGNERS: Please think how your grandma would use it!) That struck me as the most promising of them all. It has 3 input modes; When you press [Fn]+[Android], the multimedia keys (in blue) become the main keys. Big! The problem is solved! Except. no Now suddenly the ESC key becomes the home key. What idiot thought of that!? Serious! Why can't there be a single Bluetooth keyboard with volume control on the planet that "just works"? (Well, actually, Apple Blueooth keyboards are also very, very close to perfection. On Linux, you need a change to the HID driver to toggle the Command/Alt keys, but one unforgivable problem remains - the reversed position of the [ Ctrl] and [Fn] keys ). It takes 5 seconds to "wake up" before it can be used again. Again, this is somewhat confusing for a person with no language skills and the ability to understand technical nuances. By the way, Arteck's customer service is fantastic. After my first check, they contacted me to find possible solutions. but in the end I'm just picky and they gave up.
