Can focus through a fence, newer versions work well with Wi-Fi Eero and Blue Iris, great camera

A replacement version of this camera which I received from JideTech after I emailed it to peter .deng @gentlen168 had contacted . com has worked well so far. A sticker on a fully working excellent camera shows it is model: P2-20X-5MP-JAT, it was manufactured September 2020. It's connected to our Eero WiFi and we've been using both the web interface and the Blue Iris security software for days. no problem. I will update this review if anything changes with longer use. We use this special porch backyard camera to watch our pet bunnies through the chain link fence with the Blue Iris software (so the kids can safely watch their bunnies via their iPads wherever they are). You can focus closer or farther via the camera's web interface or Blue Iris IOS software, and autofocus will fix what you have focused on that point. The rabbit cage we built is huge, so we needed a high zoom PTZ camera to be useful. My kids had no trouble zooming, panning, and focusing on a rabbit hiding behind a heavy fence in the foreground. They take photos and videos of bunnies doing cute things. They usually use an 8x or 12x zoom somewhere. If you move the camera, it might choose to autofocus on something else, and you won't be able to set focus to a preset distance that some other fixed view cameras support. I've attached three screenshots zoomed in at 12x to the same spot, one with the autofocus set to capture the rabbit in the shadows (worst case), one with it focusing on the foreground fence is, and one where he is at night. Mode to look into the shadows. When the rabbits are in the sun their image is very clear (like a clear support post in the first photo). At 15 fps (default) we can see them doing lots of cute things. The first version of this camera that I sent from JideTech via Revain worked really well, except it would disconnect from the network (both wired and Wi-Fi) every 2 seconds. till 12 o'clock. The sticker on the "Buggy" version showed the model as the P2-20X-5MP-RWF and was manufactured in June 2020. JideTech support rep Peter responded very quickly even though it was a weekend and based on the information on the sticker on the camera (packaging and instructions are very generic) told me that a specific batch had issues and they replaced all of them. Peter was quick to reply to all my emails so I trust their promise of a 24 hour response time. The following week I received a new camera in the mail for free. We used this "faulty" version while waiting for a replacement as we had an Amazon purchased timer that turned it on every three hours. This camera's night vision is excellent (it's black and white) and we can probably see more at night than during the day. You can switch modes manually if you want, and even look in the shade during the day (I posted the third photo). With the help of the camera we found out that we have some squirrels and a rat that come to drink from our rabbits' water. We have also found that our rabbits are very active at night when we cannot see them. All animals have eyes that glow in IR light at night, making them easy to find.
