It does what it was designed to do
I used it for the first time to mark a reveal on 2 doors and found it a lot easier than my old eyeball method. I was also able to use the tape measure slots to pass my tape measure and get very accurate measurements, reducing the number of re-cuts. The trick was to use the body of the tape measure and add 3 inches instead of trying to guess the actual reading. Overall it did what I needed and made my job easier. The best part is that the woman is happy with the result.
