Yes, if you have a good car then this is what you need. I mounted mine to the underside of the ledge so no jury if adhesion holds but it's standard 3m stock so if it fails it's not really the company's fault. When looking from the side, I noticed that there is a very slight bulge on the adhesive side, I "think" that's on purpose? I'm not sure, but I'm concerned about applying all the adhesion or just the edges. It's incredibly small and delicate. All other products like this look like cheap plastic, but they aren't. You can fold it up when not in use (as long as you don't tighten the screws). Perhaps the only downside is that it doesn't swivel from side to side if you want to tilt it towards the driver. for me it's not a question at all. The parallel bar is infinitely flexible, depending on how you want to set it up.
