Bought to use with my new Sharp Quattron 3D TV. Couldn't find the red model in stock so I bought the silver one. The glasses are good, my only complaint is the side arms that don't go far enough to fully cover my ear (I have a big head). The 3D function works surprisingly well. At first I wasn't happy that they use batteries instead of a dock or charger, but after a while I really preferred that they use batteries (a very common CR2032 watch battery). You can buy 10 batteries (about 75 hours each) for about $10, so it's not a big deal. They also turn off automatically after 3 minutes if they don't detect a 3D signal, preventing accidental battery burnout. Of course, as others have pointed out, the glasses can see in 2D for those with vision problems (or just one eye), while others see in 3D. Overall, I give the points 4.5 out of five points. Nice device with some minor ergonomic changes.
