Good item for a reasonable price.
This shield works well with Arduino and Maximite. The only thing I can do about it is that if you can't see text on the LCD, the contrast adjustment is a small screw on the blue piece of plastic in the top left corner. Turn this screw clockwise 10 full turns and the text should appear. It took me an hour to discover this while troubleshooting.
- It features a contrast adjustment knob, a backlight selector switch, and four directional buttons, a select button and a reset button.
