This is a single band adapter so don't expect much. I have a 512GB internal NVME drive connected to an X370 board. The drive is good for about 3GB/s in the right x4 slot. Thereon. about 415m. Probably a limitation of shared PCI-E lanes. Bought an adapter to use this drive as a custom Call of Duty drive. considering the game is huge. And it does its job quite well. If it doesn't explode later, I can say it's good enough. The only issue I had was that it was a short screw and a stupid mounting bracket was used, causing the drive to fit too close to the slot below. For comfort. Not exactly touching. But it can be easy if you use a thicker heatsink on your drive.
