I received the power pack today. Nice construction with metal case. Have a weight attached to it. The output voltage was within +-0.02 volts according to my DMM. I connected my Siglent digital sight to measure the output noise. A big problem. Center ground (earth) is connected to the positive output. By connecting the ground from the visor to the black negative pole, the outputs of the power supply were short-circuited. Connecting the oscilloscope to the green (ground) pin gave the same result. This is a negative voltage source. A positive tension is expected. Warning - not suitable as a desktop power supply as all circuits and devices use negative charge as a reference. Can be used as a floating source by isolating the ground pin on the power cord (not recommended) or by using an isolation transformer. I took mine apart and reconfigured it to be negative to ground as it should be. I wouldn't recommend this as the internal heatsink needs to be isolated from the case as it is connected to the positive output. With my wife's account. I have over 30 years experience in electronics both professionally and as a hobby.
