Valve Stem Replacement for 2007 Honda 919 Hornet. The last time I changed tires and valve stems I used a little jig that pulls out the valve core and then you can thread it onto the new valve and pull it out, breaking your fingers from not being able to get a hold of it. There's one of them using a block of wood, and BOOM, it's a blueprint! Small thing. You will need to push out the pin that holds the end of these bolts to the valve stem as you will need to bend the valve to remove it if you can't get the pin out when installing the valve stem. because the long shaft doesn't turn and unscrew at a decent angle. At least I didn't want to bend the new valve that much. I just took an ordinary punch and it came out, screwed the tip onto the valve, put the pin in, installed a new valve, pulled out the pin, unscrewed the part and you're done!
