Review on Gorilla Automotive 21133BL Blue 5 Lug Kit (12mm x 1.50 Thread Size) - Pack of 20, Small Diameter by Flex Graham

My 2007 Subaru Forester Sports XT is WRB. World Rally Blue and XXR wheels have blue chrome accents. The chrome nuts looked ok but I wanted to try the blue ones. My search for blue nuts found them. Pros: + Reasonable price at $32.45 for a set of 20 and shipping was free when I bought my set. + Beautiful blue color. Individually packed in plastic bags to avoid damage. Cons: - These nuts are painted, not blue chrome plated. - A few chipped nuts have seeped the paint into the base metal. Not bad, but annoying. :(- The saddle is painted so when the union nut is in place the paint will slide off this surface. Final thoughts: Gorilla union nuts are cheap so I don't expect the quality to be as good as I've seen with McGard nuts This is less than half the cost of a McGard nut set so I bought them :) I've been using Gorilla chrome nuts for years and they're pretty good. Some have failed. also rust while waxing, but once removed the rest will last a long time. These blue nuts are painted so I don't think they will last very long. The slotted bushing puts a lot of stress on the paint when the jam nuts are installed. If they hold up well I will rate the product positively. :)
