Works great on my review.

My only complaint would be that it tries to move when you go to roll the grill onto it. I just know this and put it out from where I want it to end up. I have to move it around frequently because if it looks like it is going to rain I have to relocate my green egg under the covered area of our deck so it doesn't get wet during the cook.

Pros

The mat is easy to clean and maintain, so you can spend more time grilling and less time worrying about the mess

Cons

It might not be suitable for use as a place mat alternative
