I installed this pump/sensor assembly on my 2016 1992 Chevy K1500 4.3L V-6 and it worked as expected. I recently suspected that this pump might be failing, but found that it was the knock sensor wire on the exhaust manifold and the wire's sheath had melted, causing a short to the exhaust manifold. It seemed like the engine was starving for fuel. , as soon as I moved the wire and attached it to the cable machine, the motor started working normally again. Installing this node is a lot of work on a truck as you either have to lower the gas tank or raise the cargo box to get onto the top of the tank. That's a great fuel pump!
