Review on Cooks Standard 11x11 Inch Square Griddle Pan - Hard Anodized Nonstick, Black by Adam Rogers

I was looking for a nice grill pan to use with my regular skillet and came across this one. I was wary at first, but the positive reviews convinced me. I agree with the consensus about even cooking and easy cleanup. There are absolutely no complaints. Much better than those HSN copper and ceramic pots you see everywhere. However, there is a problem with the coating on the bottom of the pan. It gives off a slight chemical odor when cooking which I can't identify. I've hand washed it many times and although it got less with each use, the smell is still there. I use a glass plate.
