Don't expect much from this kennel for $60. This is a largely simplified Lego-like plastic house for your dog that snaps together. We live in California and our Beagle doesn't go there during the day because it gets too hot inside. His bedding fits in well, and although he spends quite a bit of time in it, I wish I'd paid more for a better wooden shelter. In his old house it was flat on top for him to sit in and I forgot about that feature when I got this one. I didn't put door panels in the front because I think the heat would be unbearable even though there is ventilation at the top of the roof. This is a BASIC plastic apartment and I wouldn't consider leaving your pet outside most of the day. Our traverses from house to yard
