When this product came out I was looking for a picture hanging wire for handmade masks. I didn't know about it beforehand. Picture wire is difficult to use, hard to bend (even at the thinnest gauge), and no matter how carefully I try to coil it, it's pretty ugly. At first I was afraid the nylon would slip through the clip. I'm happy to report that if you pinch it, it won't happen. Seems very strong. What I like best is that it is aesthetically unobtrusive and even gives my pieces a certain modern classicism. I think if I was assembling something that weighed 60 pounds I could use two strands. I am very happy with this product and would never settle for a regular cable.
