Review on Craft Your Own Bruxelles Blonde Beer at Home: Brooklyn Brew 🍺 Shop All-Grain Beer Making Mix with Malted Barley, Hops, and Yeast (GMBUX) by Matthew Guiney

Another great Brooklyn mix.

I'm new to homebrewing and love Brooklyn ingredient sets. I'm also a big fan of whole grain brews without extracts - if I wanted someone else to extract the flavors and add them to the beer I'd just buy the stuff ready brewed right? interesting result. In my home, the combination of food and beer is welcome, alongside the usual pizza and beer situation. We like to try something out. This season was very easy and as my first Belgian I was a bit disappointed with how quickly he lost his carbonation. It's my fault, no doubt. I used honey instead of agave, there was definitely no sugar in it. I'm also pretty sure I'm to blame for how spicy this drink has gotten. The flavor of the jalapenos was on point, almost masking the subtlety of the season. But wow. Of the 10 12oz beers I've brewed, only one person drank an entire bottle. If you like very spicy food (like me) I would still advise to be careful with jalapenos. I added the larger ones in the last 5 minutes of cooking - seeds and all. I would say if I made this drink again I would definitely reduce or eliminate the jalapeno seeds altogether.
