I've been celebrating sunba cameras for a few years, their main competitors are Reolink and Foscam. I started at Foscam because of the low prices. Their software has always been a problem for Mac users. Reolink had great software and pretty good cameras, and was the first company to offer 4 and 5 megapixel PTZ cameras for around $250. but their big PTZ had problems with the wifi card. I had 3 RLC-423WS and they lose connection after about 1-3 years. So they stopped wireless and just switched to POE. Sunba cameras have excellent optical clarity and autofocus, but even the BEST night vision capability, for example up to 1000 yards (I don't know you). You need more powerful POE injectors for IR LED arrays. However, I complained to the helpdesk about faulty software. The desktop app is fine, but the iOS app is terrible. You need: (1) out-of-the-box support - there is none, and (2) fixing the buttons to do what they're supposed to do.
