camera can’t see through the window at night?

I bought these to point out of the windows, but they were useless at night unless the camera is pressed against the glass. Glare from streetlights obscured the view entirely.They include sticky pads to attach the base of the camera to the surface—I cut them out into a donut shape and placed around the lens to attach the camera to the window. Video footage comes in clear now!Wish there was a way to turn off the audio so it does not record. You can only mute it while reviewing the footage.

Pros

This camera has HD footage, reasonably priced and optional low cost monitoring.

Cons

Power cable may not be long enough for some setups
