I have a small child who always plays with my remote and we lost it for a while. I am ordering this remote as a replacement until we find the original remote. When the remote arrived it looked exactly like the original except for the VIZIO on the bottom of the remote. As mentioned earlier, no programming is required. Insert a fresh set of AAA batteries, point the remote at your VIZIO TV and you're good to go. All shortcuts for Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. work like the original remote.
