Review on πŸ”§ Mazbot Smooth Flat-Nose Jaw Parallel Pliers: Top-Performing Precision Tools for Perfect Flat-Nose Grips! by Jeff Jemison

Revainrating 2 out of 5

maybe they are not built to last (although they look like they should)

They worked very well initially. My only gripe was the stiffness of the hinges (the springs in the handles weren't enough to open the jaws once the pressure was off). but after a few weeks of use, the jaws no longer "closed parallel" (probably something was deformed in the grip or in the jaws). The back of the jaws now meet well short of the front edge, leaving a gap of about 3/32 inch at the tip. This gap doesn't close tight enough to securely hold the parts I'm working with. Also, the jaws are "chunky" and hard (which I liked). not for precision work. they are lighter than they seem. I would look for a pair with rubber or soft grips when purchasing another set. Metal handles can cause hand fatigue and pain.

Pros
  • Ideal pliers for even pressure on metal and wire
Cons
  • Frequency
