Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

Used successfully for a number of years with no complaints. I have a ton of useless things from trackers stored on it (games, anime, manga, movies, and TV series), and I spent an entire year downloading whatever I liked without setting any limits for myself. As a result, there is only 100 GB of capacity remaining on the device currently. You won't be able to get very far away from the computer because the power supply doesn't look very good, and the wires are about as long as they need to be. The video plays properly on BD, and while you can still download and distribute content, the copy speed is not particularly fast; yet, this does not bother me in the least. I would like to proceed in the same manner or with USB 3.0. Although the cost is steep, I have not had even a single moment in which I have regretted my decision to purchase this product; it is an outstanding hard drive, and I would recommend it to anybody. It does not make any noise (although for me noise as an indicator is not significant at all, the aquarium capacitor makes noise behind my back, and I have already gotten used to it), and it goes off automatically and saves energy when it is not required to do so. It is placed immediately on the computer case. I really hope that it will keep going for a very long time. I believe that from this point on, I shall only use external hard drives rather than blanks. It took me a long time to decide between a model of Samsung and this one; in the end, I went with this one and have no regrets. If you take care of it and treat it with respect, I believe it will serve you well for a long time; thus, I recommend that you purchase it if the price drops.

Pros

December 15, 2022. It is still operational. It appears that the item was purchased either in 2022 or in 2022. The most recent evaluation was completed on May 31st, 2022. Made the decision to upgrade a little bit. Stylish (simply black and gorgeous, no bells and whistles, but not miserable), in my opinion, it does not become extremely hot (36-37g while idle, 43 when actively working), it switches itself off after a prolonged period of inactivity, and it is very quiet (you can hear how it works, only if you approach your ear close to the hard drive case).

Cons

Unless it has its own dedicated power source, I don't see much of a need for it, but if it does, it's not particularly important to me. On the other hand, the presence of so many of these external hard drives necessitates the use of power outlets. Other than USB 3.0 This can be a minor annoyance at times, but at the beginning of the process, you have to wait five seconds before you can begin working securely with the data in it. High price (I paid 4,300 for it, then after 2 weeks it truly dropped in price by 500, and now it has climbed in price again) Personally, I was not fortunate enough to obtain it at a low cost. Casing made of plastic (this is more of a nitpick; if you treat it carefully and do not drop it, then the material used for the casing will not be as essential)
