Problems with peripherals other than keyboard, video and mouse

I bought this KVM after my new employer gave me a new MacBook. Due to the limited space on my desktop, I had to use my keyboard, video, and mouse along with my personal Windows PC. hence the reason for the KVM switch. Since my budget (as well as desktop space) is a bit limited, I needed a good KVM at a low price. Verdict: Ah. If you just want to switch keyboard, video, and mouse (which was admittedly my original intention), then you're good to go. But if you want to connect other things to it. First, the growing number of work-related video conferencing necessitated the purchase of a webcam, so I also bought a NexiGo N60 USB computer camera. Since I have a window behind me, I may need to crank the exposure to the maximum (otherwise I'll appear as a dark shadow). But every time I switch back and forth on KVM it switches completely to zero. I don't know if this is an issue with the KVM or webcam setup software, but it's an issue nonetheless. I reported this to NexiGo as a bug. Then I tried plugging my Plantronics headphones/mic into it. Whenever I switch back to the MacBook, the keyboard doesn't work. For some reason the headphones are interfering with the keyboard on the Mac side. I have no idea why this is, but all I know is that when I unplugged the headphones, the problem went away. So my rating is 3 out of 5 stars. For the basics (keyboard-video-mouse) it seems to get the job done. But if you want to connect something else to it to split between PC and Mac, anything goes.
