A few years ago I bought various brands of cycling glasses from Tifosi, Smith and Lazer. I switched between them often, but Lazer stopped making M2 magnetic glasses and I didn't like the style of the Tifosi glasses. Goggles so I mostly used my Smith Pivlock. After a few years, I broke my favorite Smith lenses and money was tight at the time, so I decided to buy some no-name branded glasses on the international seller's platform You-know-who. I've been using the nameless glasses for about a year and found the plastic on them to crack and some of the temples just snap (I put on a pair to ride and the temples broke). Disappointed with the quality of the cheap option, I decided to bite the bullet and just spend my money on a Smith interchangeable lens. Boy was I glad I did, the clarity of the Smith lens was incredible, I took a spin with the yellow lens I bought for winter riding and couldn't believe the clarity. Compared to nameless lenses, Smith Optics is far superior to any nameless glasses I've bought in the last two years. In my opinion and experience, if you can afford it, Smith Optics is at a higher level than the cheap nameless glasses I've bought. For me there are no more fakes, Smith Optics is the best and worth the money.
