This kit was used to make R-134 automotive coolant and R-134 automotive coolant topped up in a window bracket and it worked fine. The knockout valve is fitted in the low pressure line with no shims and doesn't appear to be leaking a week after fitting. Most likely bought a few more years before we need to replace the upstairs cooling unit, where the narrow ducts prevent the system from really cooling.DIY and cheap.I figured the worst thing I could do was destroy the device I was planning to replace anyway. For $10,about 15 minutes YouTube search and 30 minutes of work, hundreds of replacement costs were saved this year.
