Review on MWXNE 2000 Watts Power Inverters: Pure Sine Wave Car Power Adapter with LCD Display, Remote Control, 3 Outlets, and Dual 2.4A USB Charging Ports - 12V DC to 110V AC Efficiency at its Best by Casey Yuh

Good for the price. Efficiency 80%. Consumption 0.7 amps at idle. Functions. ANNOYING!

One of the cheapest 3000W sine wave inverters. I was afraid to buy, but it turned out decent. I particularly like the very low no-load power consumption of around 10 watts (0.8 amps at 12 volts). It outputs 115 volts AC at the outputs. It's 80% efficient (I measured it) and can handle just over 3000 watts of DC input power before it complains. It has a little load meter so you know when it's full. Make sure you have tight and thick connections when you are. Wires can become HOT, melt and cause a fire if you do not wire them properly. The included cables are enough to get you started, but to use it's full potential you can make your own cables when using it at 150A+ high current. It's only one day but so far I'm happy. The only downside is that it starts to squeak a little at 70% of the power. At 80% power it starts to squeak VERY. (Annoying when you have 2 induction cookers trying to cook food). The fans turn on for about 10 seconds and can be heard from 1.50 m away. You will definitely hear it, no question. Sometimes they turn back on after about 30 seconds to cool down the device. At idle loads. Like running lights or a small computer, I didn't notice the fans turning on. Edit: Now that it's spring and the room temperature is 74F, the inverter turns on the fans for 5 seconds every few minutes. Why couldn't the engineers set a higher temperature to start the fans? Really annoying! Edit May 2022: They raised the price from $260 to $340. For $260 it was a good deal. I would buy another if I knew this happened. I'm hoping there is another $340 inverter on the market that can compete. It's still a good inverter. I want them to do 12V, 4000W. May 2022 Update: Why did the manufacturer turn on the fans every few minutes when it's 72F inside? When you lay down, those inverter fans screaming at full speed every few minutes are the most annoying thing ever! Can the manufacturer release a software to fix this?
