Last winter I accidentally lost a large lead acid battery on my tractor. Had to run it every time I used it afterwards. The generator was not producing enough electricity to recharge it. The reason I bought this charger is that it can work like a regular charger and go into maintenance mode when the battery is full. Very manual/automated. When I received it, the charger looked a bit small for my intended use. But I decided to try. I plugged it in and plugged it in overnight. The next day my tractor started easily and quickly. The battery was as strong as the first time. Haven't had to recharge since. Very happy customer.
