I *love* this thing. I can't afford to buy big brands in the tripod world and MeFOTO offers a really great product at a very reasonable price. Backpacker is very durable and very easy to carry and use. I use it with my Panasonic GH4. I've only had it for about 15 days, but because it's so easy to carry, it's already having a huge impact on my long exposures (1/4 second) (low light compensation or just motion blur). ) and the degree markings around the head (and ball-independent panning) helped me a lot with my panoramic shots. I know that my 14mm lens only needs 30° per panorama shot and it makes hitting that mark a breeze. I have a titanium color and the white graduation markings don't contrast well with it in bright sunlight. This is my only complaint. (I can try to fix this with a thin marker if I can figure out how to stabilize the hand.) I also added tape to the degrees as a "pointer". (See photo.)
