I just bought this set to make it for the second time. It is beautiful and once completed looks more like a painting or painting than embroidery. I made this for my mom who is a big fan of cardinals and she loved it. She loves to adapt her home decor to each season, but this set stays on trend year-round. My adult son liked it so much he persuaded me to do the same for him. I have no idea where he puts it since his set consists of giants and sci-fi raiders, but that will be his concern. The instructions and chart are clear and easy to follow, but I wouldn't recommend it for beginners. Lots of subtle shadows that make the final product look nice but can be tricky to achieve without some experience. I highly recommend this set.
