I bought this egg cooker with an auto shut off feature and it didn't shut off when it was supposed to. Despite the fact that the button was turned off, the stove itself did not stop heating. I believe this was because the omelette pan is too big for the steam to flow around it and push the steam out the sides instead of through the top of the lid. I really liked the look of this egg cooker, but that's about it. What I also didn't like was the lack of handles to remove the eggshell or omelet pan after cooking! Vobaga didn't think of the user when creating this product. I returned it and bought another brand (Cuisinart). Bought this to replace an old Cuisinart that still works but didn't like the main heating material because we have hard water and it's hard to clean. The new Cuisinart has a stainless steel base. Overall, it has a very appealing appearance, but nothing more! I don't trust the electrical components of this Vobaga Egg Boiler! It's a shame!
