I REALLY wanted to like this! It has a trendy/stylish look and it was the right price, it's thick/durable and looks like it will hold up really well! He... just sheds himself. TON! I've given it a few months to see if it was just loose fiber pre-fallout - it's been 5 months already - but it's still only losing and gaining slightly on the covered porch (we use ours garage door to access the house). much more than our front door, where it is located). The shedding just makes the welcome mat area look messy and untidy instead of the neat welcome look I was aiming for. I'm disappointed because I really thought it would be great. It can only look like this if it has never been walked on or swept/shaken/combed daily. I have no time for that. I want the first impression of my home to be good, not dirty like this carpet. (Lord knows I'm having an uphill battle IN my house with 4 kids to keep an eye on lol!) The photos I'm sharing are from after I dusted the carpets for an expected guest the other day. With that, they're not the best, but they're not as bad as usual either. This shows how it would look almost useless. But you can still see how many fibers are on the outside and around it.<< I wanted to write this review while thinking about it because I keep forgetting. I plan to upload more photos once they are used again to show how the mat looks most of the time.>>
