Great Bell fits big bars

I ride a Fuji Tread with drop bars. The funny thing is none of the shop bells fit my oversized steering wheel. I browsed the internet a bit and decided on a trigger call. I considered the Knog Oi and while it looks cool the reviews said it wasn't very loud which would be a problem on the busy bike lanes I ride. Also looked like an adjustable Incredibell, but reviews said the bell couldn't be removed and reinstalled without ruining the strap. I also didn't want to spend $50 on a Spurcycle call as that would cover the cost of something else like clipless pedals that I need to buy. Installation - Installation was relatively easy. Simply turn the screw to tighten or loosen the adjustable strap. I had a bit of trouble getting the little plastic collar around the end of the strap to hold the extra length of the strap. I installed it on my left hood as you can see in the photos. I ring the bell and pull the latch with my thumb. It took a while to get the angle right so the chime wouldn't collide with the brakes/shifter. Experience so far - works great. I'll admit that I made a mistake and didn't get a clear sound on the first few attempts to thumb back the drummer, but now I can easily do it with a slight movement. The bell is loud enough for other cyclists or pedestrians to hear when I approach. Although the strap goes around the hood, I don't notice it at all as the grip feels normal (note - I'm wearing gloves). The best part is that I don't have to take my hands off the hood to ring the bell, I can keep ringing the bell and not change hand position.
