Review on πŸ”¨ Wilton 11113 SH Deadblow Hammer by Brian Garrett

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The outer case is too soft, it is very easy to tear/damage.

I was very excited when I read the reviews of these no-win picks. I've been using the orange cargo ports for about 8 years and they're finally starting to wear out. I think if I bought them they would last a lifetime so I went ahead and made the investment. BAD idea, using a medium sized hammer the third time I was working, I bumped into the side of a metal brace on a conveyor belt (there wasn't even close to a sharp edge) and it cut into the skin of the dead punches half an inch, like that that it looks like a piece of cheese after being partially sliced. Now that the inside is open, I'm sure it won't be long before it breaks even more and becomes unusable. No, I understand why Wilton offers a lifetime guarantee on the pen. So disappointed that I will never buy any products again which pisses me off because I had high hopes these guys would make something cool. Aside from the soft Dead Blow leather, the cool green graphics on the grips have already faded to rubberized black with just a few light touches.

Pros
  • Spark Resistant: Safe to use around combustible materials. No exposed metal on the face, head or stem.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
