I hate to write bad reviews but this product is terrible. The sound quality is absolutely flat and weak. I plugged headphones into the headphone jack for better hearing. At this point there is no sound coming out of the speakers and I SHOULD either use headphones or use an additional plug in speaker. The only way to turn this thing on is to tug on the power cord, like turning on and off a lightbulb on the ceiling. Strange. The remote control works normally when you pull the cord MANUALLY. To make matters worse, the transparent cover of the CD broke on the second day. One of the small plastic tabs has broken off and it will NOT play unless inserted into the slots it broke from. So now I have to carefully put the lid on every time I use it. I absolutely hate giving things back so I got this thing working for now. Don't waste your money on this product.
