They were so easy to put together. They work exactly as promised. what you need to know If your lamps don't have a wall side (meaning people can see a 360 degree view around them), these lamps may not be for you. The velcro seam on the lampshade is clearly visible but easy to hide when facing the wall. If you add them somewhere you want your stuff to charge quickly, you'll be disappointed. They charge much slower than the fast chargers we are used to. If you have them in high-traffic, easy-to-touch areas, you might not like them. The touch controls are pretty responsive to the point you can even touch the wire curtain and it's still responsive. In any case, they are very modern, simple and beautiful. The only reason I'm splicing the star is because the gorgeous black metal base does NOT match the top hardware. For some reason the top hardware is a disgusting gold color. But that is only noticeable up close.
