Review on Cobber Torch Cigar Lighter: Windproof Quad Flame Butane Fuel for Smoking, Refillable and Punch-Enabled, in Gunmetal Gray by Matt Pratt

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Questionable quality control

This is a premium lighter with a very heavy all-metal construction, solid construction and nice features like a visible tank port and a built-in cigar punch that doesn't get in the way. The lid must be opened manually before moving. fire and close. Unfortunately, as is often the case with inexpensive lighters, and the price of this lighter places it squarely in the budget category, quality control is suspect. My lighter is clearly leaking. I had it for probably 3 or 4 days and I filled it to the max on the first fill. I store my lighters upright and they usually fail reliably after 15-20 keystrokes at most. I thought it was a bad gas valve but after looking through the fuel window basically most of the butane had already escaped and after opening the control valve all the way it started glowing but after about 5 hits the tank was full empty. Unfortunately this is being sent back to Revain for a refund. Happen. Or risk it, you might get lucky.
