I guess I'm old school when it comes to things like starting a fire. This little torch really amazes me! Fire without chemicals or liquids. I love it! I've only lit a few small things like incense sticks and a candle so far, but once it gets colder I can't wait to fire up my wood stove. I use sooooo many matches and butane lighters to start a fire in my stove, my main source of winter heating. I like the idea that it's just a matter of charging. I was just trying to light an oil lamp with a small round wick in a display case and it was a bit tricky, probably because there was some fiber sticking out of the wick. It took a few attempts to ignite, but eventually it happened. That being said, I can see that the battery can drain fairly quickly, but it's easy enough and quick enough to charge. In general, it's good for small things. I hope when the time comes it will be easy enough for me to light my stove.
