This company is totally unreliable. If you read the ad, you'll see that it's designed to avoid asking if the bags are actually biodegradable. It doesn't say "biodegradable" anywhere on the packaging. It says "environmentally friendly" on it, which is entirely subjective. meaningless and unverifiable. They mention some sort of "additive" that was added to the material to speed up its degradation, without going into detail about what the "additive" is - as far as we know, it could be a toxic chemical, and who knows if it actually speeds up the breakdown of what -or. . It's even worse as it could be something rubbing off on my hands. I don't need an "additive". I want a bag made from biodegradable material. We have enough plastic bags polluting the world. Like a few customers I was tricked into buying this brand because they make their box and packaging look like a few other brands, all caps are biodegradable. Shop carefully if you don't want to send more toxic plastic bags to landfills. I recommend poggis (my preference because they are odorless, they are actually odorless) or earth rated.
