Suitable for use in combination with a collar with prongs!

This is a good non-slip collar. We use it in combination with a spiked collar to walk our 85 lb GSD. I had undone the clasp on my spiked collar when the dog tugged on the leash. It's not needed yet, but if the spiked collar fails, it will protect me from my dog going off the leash.
