Update from Day 5: Today my slide button fell off the cable. It looks like one of the connectors holding the button wasn't made at all. So I downgraded my rating to 4. It is most likely a manufacturing defect so I still highly recommend this product. I bought this cable to replace the cable that came with my HyperX Cloud Alpha. I would say that the volume controller design is better than the original cable, although the cable seems to be a bit thinner. The cable is also longer than the original, but what really matters is that the sound quality is indistinguishable from the original.
