Similar in size and appearance to a typical desktop speaker, the Kimviento 220W Compact Heater keeps me comfortable at my desk while the rest of the room stays cool. . It blows a warm breeze around my desk, but is quieter than a typical computer fan, making it almost impossible to identify as a heater. At only 220 watts - I've had table lamps that required more - the unit can be plugged into almost any 120 volt AC outlet with no power or safety issues. Safety is of course always an issue; Kimviento shines here too, instantly shutting down if the device is tilted about 35 degrees in any direction or if the internal temperature rises above normal levels, e.g. B. when the air inlets or outlets are closed. The temperature of the air exiting the Kimviento 220W small heater was about 175 degrees (F) when I tested it; It was right on the outlet as the temperature dropped to about 115 degrees within inches as it mixed with the cooler room air, and was very comfortable being a foot or more away. There's no smell, no visible glow - in fact there's no visible indicator of heater operation, which I think would be a worthy improvement. But despite this minor issue, my little 220w Kimviento heater now has a permanent home on my desk during the cold winter months. I highly recommend it.
