Pros: I was able to watch my favorite channel which I couldn't catch with previous TV tuners even though I used a boosted antenna. Cons: The remote control doesn't always work. Although I think the problem is in the tuner itself when executing commands from the remote control. I say this because when the tuner tries to tune and/or buffer a weaker channel, it works when I press a number on the remote or press the up-down button but the command is not executed. It's like it can't multitask between setting it up and receiving commands from the remote. The only way to override the missing response is to right-click on the program window where the menu appears and then select another channel. Anyway, the manual doesn't mention the remote control at all.
