I've been sanding a lot lately. Making mesquite tables, sanding for hours to keep the wood looking its best. I have a less expensive random Bosch orbital tool, a very smooth working tool. I wanted to upgrade, use a collector hose with better ergonomics, so I bought a Bosch GEX33 5N. I am very happy with the mill. The ergonomics are excellent, the operation is very smooth, the noise level is not overwhelming (I wear earplugs anyway). On a flat surface of a tree (tabletop), the weight of the device is enough to cut wood well. When holding your hand for a roundover, the grip really helps. This well-designed grinder allows me to grind for hours without feeling tired or cramped. For the value, this is a winner in my shop. I will be buying another one so I have two grits to work with without having to switch papers. I would add that the substrates are expensive. With any luck, an aftermarket last will be available soon.
