I purchased this cable because I wanted to connect an ATX power supply to use other accessories that require more power/connections than the standard 240w power supply that comes with the HP unit . I noticed that my "P2" connector looked like the "MT" version in the "reference photos" and my "6-pin" connector looked the same as it did on the "SFF" -Picture. Anyway, I ordered the product, came as described, in the same packaging. I plugged it in but then my PS fan turned on and then stopped and my computer flashed RED and beeped 4 times. I contacted COMeap and they were great! He suggested that another customer experienced something similar and should be SURE that I have connected all the necessary connectors from my ATX to the motherboard. It turns out I forgot to connect the "4-pin" from my ATX to a connector at the top of the board which I assume is for the CPU. -_- I fixed it, and although I've noticed that when I turn on or restart my computer, it seems like it almost "shuts down/reboots", booting into Windows and working fine, for some Hours. All my accessories work etc. Not sure if it's just a fancy feature on these motherboards but I haven't noticed any side effects, this adapter cable works great! I would definitely buy again!
