Review on SUPCASE [Unicorn Beetle PRO Series] [Heavy Duty] Case For IPad Air 2 Tablet Accessories for Bags, Cases & Sleeves by Michael Lightfoot

Revainrating 4 out of 5

As a case it seems good, the fit is excellent but there are issues.

As a base case, this item fits my iPad Air 2 very well. That includes a rubber edge. It looks like it will protect my daughter who is prone to dropping things because she is 9 years old. However, I am deducting a star for the following reasons: 1. They have a "protective film" on the case itself. I absolutely hate that case manufacturers do this. It reduces light touch sensitivity to useless levels. You may feel a very small gap between the tablet's glass and the protective mechanism. I've seen it on other "protective" phone cases and my experience is the same with all of them. They are literally awful. I cut out the protector with a razor blade and then rip it off around the edges. I then spent about 10 minutes removing the glue with goo-gone.2. The "covers" for the headphone jack and charging cable are completely unnecessary and put a LOT of strain on the connector because the rubber is so hard. I could see over time that both the headphone jack itself and the plug on the charging cable or headphones have worn out, also my daughter has trouble unplugging the plugs so I cut them off. This is an unnecessary addon, just make a hole and you're done. All in all it's a great case, but god it took too much effort to make it practical.
