I have to say I was a little apprehensive at first seeing how easy it was once we unpacked the straps. But last week we were on the boat and it was the perfect time to try them on, we went back to the ramp and when it came time to tie them to the trailer we moved on and it was so easy we did it couldn't believe this is a simple buckle that once the strap is in place and we fold the buckle over is very tight and secure. Another great feature are the small Velcro straps that wrap around the remaining strap like a strap to keep it from dangling on the floor.
