Review on Aldan American Shocks 300132 by Scott Clark

Don't waste your money on these

I've been looking at them for a long time. Finally printed and bought. Installed them on 98 C1500. During installation, I completely replaced the front suspension with new parts, including the levers. They were perfect for the first few months. A bit of a hard ride, but adjusting the knob quickly changed that. But in the last few months one of the coilovers has started to creak. The noise got louder and louder over time. I've disassembled this side many times and found nothing, but I did feel a creak as the truck hit the shock shaft. Even when I swapped the coilovers back and forth, the noise followed that 1 coilover. Now I'm trying to find out what the warranty on these coilovers is. These are pretty expensive devices, made in America to fail like this. I have a QA1 in the back and it's still running. These American Aldan coilovers should last over 3,000 miles.
